未払費用、未払金、未確定債務

未払費用、未払金について日本語と英語でまとめました。（以前のものを修正しました。）

色（赤と緑）で対応しています。

未払費用	継続的な役務提供に関するもので、契約の全てが完了しておらず支払いが終っていない	未払家賃、未払利子	accrued expense accrued liability	An example of an accrued expense is when a company purchases supplies from a vendor but has not yet received an invoice for the purchase. Other forms of accrued expenses include interest payments on loans, warranties on products or services received, and taxes—all of which have been incurred or obtained, but for which no invoices have been received nor payments made. Employee commissions, wages, and bonuses are accrued in the period they occur although the actual payment is made in the following period.
未払金	単発取引に関するもので、契約上の取引や期間は終了しているが支払いが終っていない	機械設備等の購入費用や修理代

表の通り、英語では区別せず、両方とも以下のように言います。

• accrued expense
• accrued liability

未払費用と未払金の話には「債務が確定しているか否か」という話がつきものですが、それについては日米の債務確定要件比較で表にまとめましたので、是非一度ご一読下さい。

ちなみに未払費用と未払金をどうしても英語で説明するのなら以下のようになるでしょうか。（ただ英訳が必要となる機会はほぼないと思いますが｡｡｡）

Accrued expenses are classified into the following two types in Japan:

• Accrued expenses related to ongoing services (e.g., lease, loan)  
• Accrued expenses related to one-time completed transactions (e.g., acquisition or repair cost of machinery or equipment)   

ポイントは、関係する取引が「継続的」か「単発」かということのようです。
